Review summary
Based on recent reviews

The Star Inn is appreciated for its convenient location, a short walk from both Beeston town center and the Railway Station, with easy access to buses and trams. Guests often enjoy the comfortable, generously sized beds and appreciate practical amenities such as large towels and provided fans. Some have noted that the rooms are basic and can benefit from some refreshing, however, the availability of en suite facilities and a good selection of beers in the bar contribute to a pleasant stay.

Acceptable Stay with Some Issues

convenient locationdirty cupsleaking kettle
The location was quite convenient. Shops were within easy walking distance.
The cups in my room were quite dirty. It was they had not been properly washed. The kettle also leaked, so I scalded myself each time I poured water. Water went everywhere.

a decent stay overall

extra pillowgood locationlively atmospheremissing wardrobepoor lightingmissing clothes hangers
the staff let me have an extra pillow. the location was good and the pub had a lively atmosphere, it was fun. the food was good and there was a decent choice of drinks.
I was in a room without a wardrobe. there was a rail on the back of the bathroom door but no clothes hangers were available, i could not hang my clothes. the lighting in the bathroom was poor and there was no window. I found that a little disappointing.
